I think i just figured out MIB. His name is actually Aaron, no relation to Aaron Littleton. Claire in both timelines says “Is Aaron okay?” and she says she doesnt know why she picked the name except “She knew it or something”. Aaron is Jacob’s brother who chose opposite sides in a conflict, one wanting to leave the island, the other wanting people to come to the island. MIB says Aaron has a crazy mother too, so there r several parallels between both of them

one other thinh about ben and alex is that ben in the island chose to ”destroy” alex . ( he let the soldier to killed her” he chose the island rather her
but in this episode because of hm alex ‘s future was not destryed because the letter was send.
so ben did not choose the principle”s position

I will hav to disagree on that….Ben was actually trying hard to save Alex life… Wen kimi shoots her…ben goes wild with shock!! y? he dint intend her to die!!…Agreed that Alex died in the main timeline…But i dont agree that Ben was intending to have her killed by Kimi!!!

also the man in black says “dont tell me what i cant do” which is what locke would say when he was in his wheelchair.. showing he still has some of lockes attributes
when juliet said “it worked” maybe she really did mean that setting off the explosion worked, just not in the way they expected. Instead of them never ending up on the island, a split timeline or alternate universe was created where this is true and the current one continues as if nothing had happened. Since Lost and Fringe exist in the same universe, Crossing over to the next universe can be a possibility for the losties since Dr.Bishop (fringe show)accomplished this when he brought back Peter.

your idea was not off about ben killing locke and breaking the rules, but you must keep in mind that you cant kill another person touched by jacob “WHILE ON THE ISLAND” you see because ben killed locke in a hospital somewhere off of the island, and since locke was a canidate it was a perfect body for the man in black to imitate.
@Jonnybarbs See this is what happens when someone mocks someone’s spelling when you make grammar mistakes yourself while insulting someone. It’s YOU’RE, you know, a contraction of “you are”, not “your” (as in something that belongs to someone, like your attitude and my correcting you for correcting someone else. lol
